Common questions

What are keys?

Keys are the in-app currency used to reveal someone's secret. A text secret costs 1 key, a secret with a picture costs 2. You get 1 key for every secret you publish yourself (up to 5), premium members receive keys every week, and you can buy key packs in the app.

I revealed a secret and it was not what I expected.

A reveal is final: once the seal is broken, the key is spent, and the owner is told that you revealed it. The category and heat level shown before the reveal tell you what to expect. If a secret breaks our rules, report it from the secret's menu and we will review it.

How does Premium work?

Premium gives you unlimited reactions, a weekly key drop and the ability to see who reacted to your secrets. It is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple ID. You can manage or cancel it any time in Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions on your iPhone. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the current period stays active.

Refunds

Purchases are processed by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds ourselves.

Someone is behaving badly.

Use Report or Block on their profile or in the chat. Reports are reviewed by a person. Blocking removes you from each other's feed and chat immediately. If you are in danger, contact your local emergency services first.

Can people screenshot my secret?

Taking screenshots is against our rules and we make it as hard as we can: pictures are shown with a personal watermark, and image secrets are only visible for a limited time after reveal. Report anyone who shares your content outside the app.

I want to change my pseudonym.

Open Me › Change pseudonym. You can roll a new one once a week. Your first name is never shown in the feed; it only appears inside a chat.

Delete my account

Open Me › Settings › Delete account. Your profile, secrets, photos, reactions and chats are removed within 30 days; purchase records are kept as long as the law requires. You can also email privacy@onlysecrets.app from the address linked to your account.
